Take a boat trip through the estuary of the river Sado and Costa da Serra da Arrábida and Tróia to observe the Sado Dolphins,the Bottlenose Dolphins,the friendly community that lives at the mouth of the river,about three dozen animals, one of the only three colonies estuaries throughout Europe.
FIND THE NATURAL RESERVE OF SADO ESTUARY
The Natural Reserve of Sado Estuary is located in the Setúbal district and comprises the municipalities of Setúbal, Palmela, Alcácer do Sal and Grândola. Its main objective is the estuary maintenance, through the development of activities compatible with the ecosystem balance, the correct exploitation of resources, the defence of cultural or scientific values, as well as the promotion of outdoor recreational activities.
